Elisa Marie Photography is based in San Diego, California.
Elisa’s passion for photography started early. From the age of 5, she could be found with a camera in hand, waiting to capture the next fleeting moment in time. She first used a digital SLR camera while visiting Africa in 2006, where she experienced the power of photography. The idea of making time stand still continues to captivate her, so much so that she has made it her life’s work.
Elisa’s work is both inspirational and informative. Some of her pictures capture the happy moments we don’t want to forget, while others bring awareness to people and issues that are all too often forgotten.
On top of photography being Elisa’s job, it is also her favorite hobby and biggest passion in life! She enjoys traveling all over the world to take pictures. Recent trips she has taken include: Mexico, The Bahamas, Africa, Indonesia, Australia, Nepal, Dubai, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. One of her favorite trips in October 2012 was with Highland United Methodist Church. She was able to capture amazing heartfelt moments during a women and children’s ministry trip.
Her goal in life is to help others in need through her gift of photography by being a humanitarian photographer and bringing awareness to the world.
Elisa graduated with a degree in Photography at the Academy of Art. She is a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
